Frankfurt!!

Holy crap, if I was a real blogger I'd have so much to blog about.

Food. Great! We were served a hot meal, even in economy, of pasta, potato salad, white bread, cheese, rye bread and carrot cake. All was yummy. Well I haven't tried the rye bread yet, that's in my pocket.

I was sitting next to a nice older couple. The dude reminded me of my uncle holly because of his jokes and observations.

The seats were small and OMG that plane was warm. Like very very warm. I brought a blanket with me cuz I usually find planes a little cold but I nearly passed out twice! And they had a very nice blanket and pillow waiting on our seats.

Speaking of passing out. Ist der ein Artze on der Flug? (That's my crappy German). Just after the lights had been dimmed for nap time, just west of Ireland, a few seats up I hear "hallo, HALLO". And then there was a rush to find an Artze (doctor). I think there were about 2 doctors a a couple nurses that showed up. The older lady was laid between the seats in the and assessed by the doc with the stethoscope. Then they had to find someone with a glucose monitor. I guess the lady had not been diligent in managing her blood sugars and had started to pass out. They gave her some cola and monitored her. And then when she was able walked her to the back for mor monitoring. Crazy. That stuff only happens in the movies.

Now for Frankfurt or what I can see, the airport. The most important think is,....I have a stamp in my passport! Yay me. For some reason I had to pass through a passport check to get to a train that brought me to the other side of the terminal. I then had to go through security again. No I did not mess up and take a wrong turn. That was all how it works for transfers. The dude before security scanned my boarding pass and told me there was a new gate thankfully in the same area.
German as in the airport!

So the next step is to take the next flight to Amsterdam and go through customs and get a train to where my hostel is. Since I'm smart. No really I am sometimes. I bought a water at the duty free €1 and got enough change to pay for my one way fare.

This might work.
